In the proposal are available dynamic UPS (DRUPS – Diesel Rotary UPS, RUPS – Rotary UPS) in the power range from 400kVA to 3000kVA. The device consists of four basic elements, i.e. diesel engine, mechanical clutch, tray with flywheel, generator. This system replaces the traditional tandems, i.e. static UPS with batteries unit, generator, SZR, etc. The system efficiency reaches 97%.
Very low operating costs make the total cost of ownership several tens of percents lower than traditional solutions. It is possible to build systems with a capacity of up to dozens of MW when using parallel work. The devices can operate at a low or medium voltage.
